• LCD screen - 2000 Camaro

Hey everyone - I'm still curious as to if anyone has fit an LCD screen for GPS/DVD/Winamp VIS/etc into a 2000 style Camaro? I'm looking for pics to see how people have done it as I'm going to do it and need some ideas. I was considering a double din install - but those DIN type LCD units are quite expensive (unless NOT motorized...which sucks.) and if I don't don't do a DIN install, I'm looking for ideas on where a normal LCD kit could be installed. I don't like the idea of behind the sun visor or ceiling mount because I don't want to have to look at the ceiling to see the lcd. So please post your ideas and pics here if you get a chance - I'd love to see them. Thanks ahead of time and thanks everyone for great forums!

Yeah - I know we've only got 1.5 DIN - but I found a guy (DrMilhouse) who has done double din using some bondo Thanks for the concern however - nice to see people watching out for others in the forum!

Alpine slees a head unit with a moterized LCD in the unit for like 400 to 600 bucks. thats a lot cheaper than buying a bunch of components. try checking out www.crutchfield.com and see what theyve got

I've seen a fixed one mounted right next to airbag seem on passenger side....takes away to much sight IMO....so do TV's in general they really should be kept at the house...

I've got mine in my sunvisor, not functional at all while driving but can be set up for about $100.
