    Factory alarm questions...upgradeable?

    I've had my car for a few months now. It has an alarm, but previously had no remote. I got a remote off ebay and I got it programmed fine. Now there are a few things I want to ask about...

    Is there any way I can add a siren? If I hear my alarm going off, I dont want to have to wonder if its someone else's car b/c they all sound the same.

    What other kind of sensors can I get to add to it and how to I add sensors? I read something about a proximity sensor that sounded really cool.

      i have a hornet system running off the stock alarm.. it cost $150.. $200 total to have circuit city install it.

        Think there's something in our Mod Ency about adding an aftermarket shock sensor to the stock system.........I think anyway. And I added a second siren to my system. Just wired + to +. I just chanced it causing damage though. hahaha WEIRDEST thing though. Even though both sirens are connected to together...... they play out of sequence with each other! Same tones, just one is a little ahead of the other. It sounds crazy! BUT that's a good thing. Turns heads everytime. :D :D

          lol.. one time i was walking out of my college, to my car and some guy was near my car looking inside it so I pressed the panic button :D
