I recently hooked up my amp (sony-(ya i know ****ty brand but it was cheap for 800 watts)) to my rear component speakers (infinity)-it is also hooked up to my subs (infinity)-anyways when the amp turns on all the speakers "pop" at first and this sounds ****ty and possibly like it may blow a speaker or tweeter-any chance this may happen or is this typical? also im getting interference or some type of static in the background on the tweeters along with a ringing hat fluctuates with my rpm's-is this possibly because my power cord is run too close to the speaker wires or could it be something else?
Also i now have extra wire ends all hooked up with no speakers to go to as i originally had the rear speakers run through the head unit--should i buy some speakers to hook up there? possibly 6x9's in enclosures or tweeters or would that just be overkill now that i have 6.5 coaxials in the front, components in the rear, and 2 10" subs? All advice and opinions are appreciated, thanks in advance
