Well, let me know if I can help you. So who did you refer. My responses have been short lately because I just bought a house and I'm a little strapped for extra time. Tell 'em to hang in there.

the flapp that covers the rear storage area that comes on all the fbody's stock. Does it still fold back all the way? I was thinking it would be good to hide your system when you park and lock it up. Maybee just fold it back so it dont show the speakers at all.

Yup, on this type of 12" box the flap does cover the subs completely.

                Thanks,

Here's another view of that same box. I only routed the recess as a special request. The subs will still fit behind the flap even without the recess. Notice that the cutouts are quite large. This one was for a pair of Audiobahns.

Depends if you want the really deep style like v6maro did. See, I have a deep style that goes all the way to the bottom of the well (1.5 cubes per chamber). And my standard box sits on that shelf directly above the t-top holders. His cost more because of the size. Send me an e-mail and I'll run through it with ya.

Ok i have 2 12w3s, and someone please convince me they sound good. Im used to having 15w3s and now that I have a firebird I dont wanna go through the hassle of buying em and selling these 12s and all that mess. My 12s sound like *** and im almost positive that its my box, its small and its not ported.

Someone please tell me the ported box for 2 12s from subthump owns!

98Bird. It must be your box. Even my sealed box sounds good with JLs in it. I have some made up if you want to give it a try. But, if you need the ported kind, I would have to make that. 3-400 watts to each sub in my box should pound. Go here to see what v6maro said about his box. www.subthump.atfreeweb.com/examples.htm

Maybe he will be along here shortly and can say how loud it is. I'm doing my 3rd ported box now. I'm working on a white one for a canadian guy. It looks sweet.

I guess I just don't understand why everyone's going custom. Q-Logic makes the same thing and has all the matching interior colors.

I'm sorry dude, but I disagree. Q-logic makes one size for 12s and that's it. It's only .88 cubes or so per chamber and sealed--not ported. V6 maros box has over twice that space per sub, it's ported, has a lock, not made out of particle board, and he bought the box and the amp rack for less than the Q-logic box alone. Thank you.

I'd like to see a couple L7s or or audiobahns fit in a q-logic box. Won't happen. That's why there's a need for "custom" work. People want to be unique. Why did you buy Camaro. Why not buy a cavalier or honda civic like everybody else? I for one don't want to be like everybody else. It's too boring IMO.
