What does everyone suggest? 3-way or 2-way speakers? Or components?

passenger speakers, meaning the rear sail panel ones? i would stick with nothing more than 2-ways. just a mid-bass woofer would be best for the soundstage.

Components in the front ....IF you add rear speakers they need to be woofers only and be low pass crossed over at 220Hz.

Oh yeah, NEVER buy three way coaxials, they are @$$. 3-way components are another story, but are insanely hard to setup properly
