  • 2 12'' in ported?

Alright I have decided on two 12's in a ported box but, I only have 1.5 cu ft for each sub. I need the sub to handle at the least 300watts rms. I will be using an amp with a subsonic filter.

Another question would 2 12'' subs sealed with 1200 rms watts running to them be louder than 2 12's with 600 rms watts in a ported box? or vica versa? Thanks Guys.

I personaly like sealed alot better than ported. IT's not as loud but it's more acurate, IMO. It's entirely up to preference, but I'm running 2 12's in a small sealed box w/ a RF Punch 500a2 and it's way more than I can handle.

Well i have always loved ported box and not really liked sealed but I want to know which one would be louder. 2 12' sealed with 1200 watts or 1 12 ported with 600 watts.
