Ok, first, I'm not electrically inclined, and I've done lots of searching to find the answer im looking for and I haven't found one, so if this is a repost IM SORRY! :(
I'm doing the big 3, all 0 gauge wires. No prob...
I purchased multi output battery termials, and those gm side post terminals... No prob...
Here is where my fustration comes in to play...
Here is the multi-output battery terminal I got:
http://www.cardomain.com/item/STISBTMNPT
"one 1/0 gauge, one 4 gauge, and two 8 gauge"
I looked under the hood, it looks like the positive wire going to the engine somewhere, looks to be 4 gauge? The wire going from bat to amp is 4 gauge, the wire going from the alt to my bat is 0 gauge, and the wire going from bat to fuse d-block is 8 gauge. Thats one 0 gauge, two 4 gauge, and one 8 gauge going to the positive bat term..... Thats one too many 4 gauge :(
The bat to amp wire must be at least 4g.
How do i fit all this on the battery terminal i purchased?
HELP PLEASE!!! :(
I have a feeling the answer is simple, and the question is stupid.
