  • what happened to the 8 inch ?

ok, been lookin around a lot, and i cant seem to find very many good 8 inch subs around anymore. i used to have some awesome JL audio 8w6's but i wanted to try out another brand maybe. anyone know any companies that make good 8 inch subs ?
Just because you put a K&N sticker on your Honda doesn\'t make it an 8 second car.

you could always try out the new 8w7 from jl, they are the best sounding and powerful 8's around. but if your bent on other brands sony has some, alpine use to make an 8" xr series sub (similar to todays type s), rockford makes some nice 8 inchers, you could get an 8" bazooka, i think there is an 8" kicker solo baric and there 8" comp sub, there is the 8" polk momo, then there's audiobahn, thats all i have off the top of my head.

I got a chance to hear to hear some of these guys 10" K series a couple weeks ago which is the product line 2 levels below these. I was highly impressed with them. They got pretty loud but also had a really clean sound to them. I can only imagine that that their top of the line A series would be worlds better.
