Sure thing guys, I've got an alarm and dark tint already. I'll definately be taking the face plate with me where ever I go. Thanks for the advice. Also, I have a stock size(.5 DIN I think) that is in the car now. It's a pioneer too. I plan on letting my cousin have it. I know Chrysler cars have the same size radios as GM I think. Will that size fit in a '95 Jeep Wrangler? I hope so cuz I told him I'd give it to him.

I believe both of you are refering to 1 din. (Or "single din") The stock size on the camaros/firebirds is 1.5 din. And most head unit are the single din size. That's why we need the dash kit. To go from 1.5 din to 1 din. Now then, there is a couple of install kits out there that will allow you to install a regular 1 din head unit along with a .5 piece of equipment. To my knowledge, only indash EQ's and line driver's are made in the .5 din size.........except for the new Clarion .5 center channel speaker. Haven't heard it personally, bought I'm very curious. All us 5.1 guys have our ears open for some reviews.

right, a normall head unit is DIN. 1/2 DIN pieces are normally EQ's and stuff. both 1/2 DIN and DIN sizes will fit 99.9% of cars out there.
