My 12inch alpine type s can run 200 wats rms, and 600 at peak, so to maximise sound what wat amp sould i look at? A 200x1 rms?

And what are the disadvantages of taking a 4 channel amp and bridgeing it to 1 channel to power my sub? Stability. When 2-channels are bridged together, they usually can't handle a load under 4 ohms. When 4 channels are bridged together...Comment
