I tryed to play with the switch and arm and disarm it but can't get it fixed as for the make and model i can't find where they hid the brain i will keep looking thanks
I think that i found the "brain" but there is nothing writen on it. I think that i am going to have to break down and take it some where and get it fixed. Also if something did go wrong with it what do you guys think of the crime guard alarms that crutchfield sells???
Im not sure if crime guard is made by the same ppl as crime stopper, it seems like it, but I just bought a crime guard alarm from ebay (cuz crutchfield has crazy prices), not really for the security, but more for the keyless entry I always wanted. The alarm itself is actually pretty decent, and came with all hardware needed (I got model #cs-2001fc) for $50. Like Brent from camaroz28.com said, "I don't care if you have a $50 alarm or a $1000 alarm, if the $50 alarm is installed properly it will perform similar to the $1000 alarm but maybe not have all the bells and whistles." I'd say it was worth the money I paid.

Does your remote have anything written on it?
If you can identify the alarm, the procedure to turn off the "auto arm" feature is simple.
