Hey man I love the car. Gotta question for ya. What is the material made of where the focal comps are? I saw that and thought it was awesome. How do you make it? Oh and how did you intsall it?

Yes. I think it is awesome how you put your speakers in and painted them the same color as your exterior well the rear exterior anyway.

Like where you have the focal component set. Is that fiberglass? What type of mold did you use to apply the fiberglass to or what ever that is. That is the main part I am interested in is what you used to form your custom enclosers.

well actually that piece is somewhat a combintation of both the original piece and some fiberglass ...

a mount for the components was simply molded to the original panel with some modifications of course.

It looks as though you have the Focal's back lit. So did you sand and then just paint the stock piece or lay fiber glass over it?

the back of the focals are lit up because they have a neon behind the molding... just so happened that the focals are translucent... but again the molding is fiberglass/bondo/plastic...
