I never go to that part of town anymore. I guess Northcross Mall would be a good place sometime.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the box on the right is the Q-logic q custom box for two 12" subs. The plastic upper part is not shown. The Q is made out of particle board instead of MDF like mine are. Plus, the Q only has around .8 cubic feet per chamber whereas my smaller size has 1.0 cubes per chamber and my larger size box has even more.

3 12's is definitely NOT too much. I have 3 JL 10's and i want one more! Go big or go home man! LOL. Dont buy those square solobarics! I had two of those (S12L7's). They sounded pretty good but one, they require way to much power than what there worth, and two, the corners tear after a while. You will spend way too much for them to tear after two or three months. If you want to do it right go with JL audio and/or audiobahn. I have 3 JL's powered by an Audiobahn A3201X 840Watt. It sounds bad ***! My real task coming up will be fitting 4 10's back there.....it will go wall to wall! Im getting a decible test next week and ill let you guys know what i hit.95 3.4L Camaro
Cold Air Intake
3 JL Audio 10\'s W/ Audiobahn amp
Recently wrapped around a tree, SELLING STEREO SYSTEM.
Lots of mods to come
http://www.angelfire.com/az3/95v6/index.html <------My car
Favorite quote: \"Assume a virtue if you have it not.\"

Yes, please do. I'm guessing low 140's???? I also have 3 10"s but mine are Rockford Fosgate HX2's. I also want more.. A LOT more!! I'm looking to be in the 150s but first I need a high output alt. and a few more Optimas. Any idea's for 150s at the dash??

Why the hell do you people want so much damn bass? No one a block away gives a damn what you're listening to, nor do they want to hear it. If it's just for you and not to show-off, still, why so damn much? You do want to be able to hear when you're older right?
Anyway, for those of you who want to go deaf, the subs you need are Adire Brahma's. www.adireaudio.com These suckers are NOT cheap though. The Brahma 12's have been out for a while now, but the 10 and 15 come out in a couple weeks. If you hurry and buy before the end of this month you can get a special price, but then they go to regular price. Probably can hit 150 with only three of those if you put them in the right size box.
edit - 3 10's that is. might be able to squeeze high 140's out of 2 12's and 150's aren't even a challenge for the 15's i'm guessing.

I was planning on getting 2 15" Brahmas. Actually, they are pretty cheap. They are one of the best deals around. Teamed with a JBL1200.1, you have a SLAMIN system for around $600. As far as why we like it so loud...... we just do! No really, I don't know. It's more of the feel for me. When it hit those lows and shakes the cr@p out of ya, then it drop deeper and liquifies your insides! *DROOL* I mean, at first you get the bass-head syndrome, then that changes into just wanting your system to POUND you into the ground. My hearing?? WHAT??! WHAT?!! No really, I don't ride around all day doin' 145s' That's just for comps.

Im thinking ill hit around 143-4'ish. My friend hit 140 with 2 audiobahn 10's in a vented box that we built in two hours...mine is definitely louder than his.....those HX2's are bad *** . With a good amp and setup you could crank 145+. Definitely throw in one more sub...im not sure what or how many amps your running, but make sure you have plenty of power. I would also look into a good component set...boston components are good as well as infinity. Good components could add 1 to 3 db's......and to the guy who doesnt understand what all the "damn" bass is for.....it's just a hobby. You put headers, and intakes and such on your car to make it faster...well i put lots of speakers in my car to make my stereo louder. I hang out every weekend at shows and car hangouts to show off my stuff and check out other peoples stuff. It's fun and you can get really creative with it. :D

I don't know where you got that idea from, but you are competely wrong. Just the JBL1200.1 is going to be $300 online. Add the Brahmas and you're over a grand. Just the presale price on the 15 inch Brahma is $350 each. Expect it go up to the low $400s each in the next few days.

Don't count your dB's before they've been bumped. People rebuild their entire setup to gain 1 more dB. The street guys are bearly pushing 150 on a good day. I think the world champion (last year) only hit 153 or so in the 1-2 street and the 3-4 was even less(how'd that happen?). The average is more like mid 140's to win in a small comp. Adding twice as many speakers will only add 2 or 3 dB max to your current spl. Sorry to burst your bubble but this stuff isn't as easy as it sounds. Check out www.termpro.com 's board and the spl section if you want to know what really works in the competitions.
O ya I almost forgot, I have BJ's (from cz28.com) stealth boxes that hold 2 12's and doesn't take up any room in the rear hatch. I think they're pretty darn good if you absolutly cannot give up the hatch area. I think his handle was something like LS1346CID or something like that on cz. He hangs out in the audio forum. They are not as good as a big asss box but have like 1 and .8 ft3 or space which is plenty for todays subs and you can't beat the extra space saved.-96 Birdie
-2x 87 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z
-97 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel

What about a pair of stealth boxes? One goes where the cubby hole is and one goes on the other side where the spare is (you get to keep the spare).
