3 of the 4 speakers blew out on the STOCK system. I need replacements...can I use AFTERMARKET speakers? Thanks.
I've heard they might work but the sound won't be as loud because the monsoon runs at 2ohm and most speakers are 4ohm. How much lower is it? I'm not the kind of person who wants to play music at deafening levels. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

yes, aftermarket speakers will work with the monsoon setup. all that has to happen is they have to be wired correctly. while ur at it, u should prolly replace all the speakers with higher quality ones before any other ones blow out.

nah I'm selling the car in a year and I want a temp setup...then I'm going to transfer the speakers over to a new car while the camaro gets all the blown speakers.
