I think people line cotton on the inside of boxes to make sure the sound wave doesnt bounce around to much inside of the box. I would think that's teh idea behind the sound deadener inside the box too. If thats what you want to do I would jsut use cotton though..save money and i dont think there is alot of performance benifit anyway.97 RS,3.73 LSD,Flowmaster,Shift Kit,Edge TC,HP Tuners,EWP,SLP CAI,160*,Touchscreen monitor,& Alpine Stereo(155.2dB)15.27 N/A 1.9X 60\'s and a magic switch.

We build boxes with manufactured woods precisely because the materials are less compliant. Adding a compliant material inside the box is silliness.╓
║ Matt M
║ Down with the Sixxness
║ Polo Green 1995 3.8 Camaro
║ intake, cat, catback, shocks, 3.42\'s, and 12\'s in the trunk
╙
