SONY sucks something major, pioneer... not really worth upgrading. i would suggest some infinity reference coax 6.5's for the rear and some 6.5 kappa components for the front. this will run you about 250 for all 4, from ebay for some new ones. another place to look is www.ikesound.com. i hate plugging sites but they have some of the best prices, also look into some alpine type r components, they aren't bad either, but dont get either brand of sony or pioneer.

I have to agree with the Infinity recommendation. I've had them for over a year and am very happy with them. Plus you've heard my car the stereo is loud as hell but crisp at the same time. I can't possibly give a higher recommendation for the Infinity 6.5s.

I have Pioneers, but if I were you I'd go with the Infinity's too. I've never had any but I have heard them before. Very good speakers.

remember these are going into the stock 2ohm output Monsoon receiver so I wouldn't be getting "all the quality" out of them. So is pioneer still ok?

When I sell the car I'll be putting them into a better system hopefully.

Get Pioneer, Crossfire, or Infinity.

Also i bet u will hardly notice the diffrence between 2 and 3 ways.

Save ur $$$ and get the 2 ways.
