Why does my car have the bose option and no rear speakers? I took the panels off in the side panels and there is what looks like a factory rubbery tape thinng coering the openings. I was also wondering if there are still factory wires in there somewhere before ripping the panel off?

the bose system has 3 speakers. 2 in the front and the "sub" in the far back. -

my bose system had 5 speakers....2 in the front, two in the rear and the little bose subwoofer in the back. It was the delco bose system. My bose had 5 speakers.. 2 in the doors, 2 in the rear panels and the sub in the back.

My Camaro only had 3 speakers for the bose sytem also. And NO, there is no factory wiring to the rears. You have to run the wiring under the paneling to get it back there.
