  • Shortest path to ground...

My freind and I are hooking up a system in his blazer. I told him that should run the power cord to the batttery(duh) and the ground cord to the wheel well, which is right next to the amp. I told him b/c the shorest path to ground is the best. Is this true, that we want the shortest path to ground, as opposed to running it to the battery?

Yes, shortest path. Just make sure it's touching bare metal.

Yes. this is true. However, make SURE it has a good connection. A short distance to a bad connection to ground is wors than a long distance to a good connection.
