My freind and I are hooking up a system in his blazer. I told him that should run the power cord to the batttery(duh) and the ground cord to the wheel well, which is right next to the amp. I told him b/c the shorest path to ground is the best. Is this true, that we want the shortest path to ground, as opposed to running it to the battery?

Yes. this is true. However, make SURE it has a good connection. A short distance to a bad connection to ground is wors than a long distance to a good connection.Trucks
\'05 Dodge 3500 Dually Cummins Turbo Diesel
\'98 Dodge 2500 4x4 360 V8 (Wife\'s)
Toys
\'81 Chevy K10 Stroker/Swampers/Custom Suspension/1-Tons/Beadlocks
\'99 Camaro Z28 6 Spd, T-tops, Borla

Real trucks don\'t have spark plugs
