  • Audio Install + Some Custom Home Made Alluminum Accents + PICS.

I installed Infinity Reference 6000cs and an Alpine f240 amp. I just wanted to show off my install. The Tweeters were to small and left a gap in the stock tweeter location. So I bought some alluminum and polished it ups and cut it to shape with my dremel. I made a collar to go around the mounting plate to fill the excess gap.

So no grill on the tweeter? Not bad, but it really stands out from the stock gray components, clean though.

nice! I tought about using that same componet set for the front of my car too. Did the woofer fit ok? Or did you need to use adapters, or customize to make it fit the 6 3/4 inch opening?

You have to either make your own baffle to mount the speaker to, or do what I did. I just took my dremel and cut the stock baffle back 1/4 in. That way it the rubber surround wont hit the door panel.

They fill the gap between the tweeter and the stock opening. And they are shiny and look cool.
