How many dbs will I get?

How many dBs will I get with a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500 A2 and 1 12" JL Audio W3 sub? I think I'm going to put it in that little opening off to the left in the rear hatch. I'm also going to make my own box for that opening.

Hey man its really hard to tell how many DBs you will hit as each kind of mic is diffrent. It also depends where you put the mic.

Im not sure if a 12'' sub will fit have enough air space in that small space your talking about. Maybe sell it and get a 10'' sub and get a box like this...

if you really want to hit some dBs you will need another 12 and put them both in your well in your trunk. It is really hard to tell you what you will hit without seeing your setup and knowing what mic you will be using but dont expect much from 1 12' woofer.

A lot of variables but, probally not over 135dB's.

I have a 12 in the back left corner, a JL 12W3(v2d4) to be specific, and I can hit about 136/137. I think it will go louder, but I'm afraid to turn it up more because I don't really want to blow it.
