Power door Lock upgrade ??

I read the other post about power doorlocks in appearance and I think I might get it, but I have a question. Can I just buy a keyless entry system too and then not bother with a lock/unlock button for the inside? Because I was thinking where would I put the button? and I really wouldn't need the inside button.

i had mine converted to power locks when i installed my keyless entry system. i didn;t put any buttons either... your lock from inside works just the same but you can also use the remote to lock / unlock .... the little panel on the door handle where the buttons would go ... i have water come in during rain if i have my window open more than 1cm open and my wipers goin .. so i would have burn that a while ago .. besides .. if you have the remote why would you need to have buttons any ways .. its not you are gonna be locking unlocking while you are in the car .. all 2 locks .. :D

Yea ha that's exactly what I was thinking, but I didn't know if I had to put them on. Did you install your own kit?

the way alot of the aftermarket lock kits ive seen work without switches like you say, but if you throw one lock (manually) it will then throw the other lock for you. so really you dont need a switch, and they design it like that for that purpose.
