i'm not sure if the subject is deceiving or not , i got a sub for christmas from my parent and just put it in a couple days ago and it sounds pretty ****y and how do you suggest i go about getting new ones w/out hurting their feelings (my friend suggested that someone at school got some new ones and wanted to get rid of their old ones so they either sold them for cheap or gave them to me) what u guys think

LOL, just for fun, you could always just take the speakers out and plug them in to a standard 120V outlet in your house. 60hz will play for a short time, then the sub will be blown. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The more respectful way would be not to lie to them at all and just tell them that you do really appreciate it, but it's not quite what you had in mind. Your dad is probably going to understand this better than your mom. Just let them know that you'll buy your own replacements.
