RF punch hx2 dvc's older style a 5'th order bandpass is a special kind of bandpass that's ported in front&behind the subs to the best of my knowledge, like I said I had it custom made for the car

This thread is going no where.

Did you actually want some help or was this all a front to tell us what you have?

no idea i want the loudest tho cost is near the same so that doesn't matter to me. what do you guys think. 145 with 2 12's 500 watts to each? how much air space do you have behind each one?

at ~1/2 volume, I had a single 12 in a Milhouse doing 136. The shop didn't have an SPL mic, only a mic for SQ so it didn't have the range to go higher than 136. I exect that it probably would have been mid 140s pretty easily with a single 12 in a sealed box.

I'm thinking that in a band pass box and a couple of 8s, 138 would not be that hard at all. Especially if the installer had a clue. If it was someone's first garage install I'd say BS, but I think it is possible. Now the thing about rattling the **** off the wall, no, that's BS. He might have said that to you to make ya feel better, but it's

By the way, 136 at 1/2 volume was an inexpensive SVC 12" Eclipse on a PPI A300 (300x1@4)

2 12s or 2 10s would do fine. The box is going to make all the difference. For some cool boxes and check out http://www.subthump.com
