Also realize how hard it is to hit high in the 140 and low in the 150's.. 155 is the threshold of pain, so...

Do not listen to this dic* weezle LOL J/K well I have one ten and I love it. It is a Alpine Type-R 10'' sub with 200x1 watts RMS pushing it. I also have Type-R components with 45x4 watts RMS pushing them. I love my system. I think I might be in 130-125's with one ten only.

hey there is a guy in soundomain under camaro's that has hit>137+with 1 lightning audio strike 10dvc sub with I think it's a fosgate or lightning amp running it, just for all you doubting thomas's :D I believe 1 sub set up in the right location with the right power&enclosure will rule over several sub's just thrown in the mix however just IMO

quit 'n us man, it's getting old.

Anyhoo, I have yet to check my SPL but this summer should bring some nice results.

This is the plan, 2 - 12w6v2's, JL 1000/1, my components get installed and run from the JL 300/4, new amp rack, optima bat, and maybe a new alt.
If anyone wants to get on the waiting list for my subs/amp/amp rack let me know, i'll prolly sell them cheap, and working of course.

138 db with two 8's is possible depending on the amp and the box. My buddy had two 8" Eclipse Aluminums and hit a 136.5 in his reg. cag ranger.

I have two 12" HE2's and i hit a 143.3, my amp is killer though. What sucks is that my box is sealed and i have a convertible. If my car wasnt conv. i would be hitting way louder cuz most of the bass seeps out the vert. If you can find a dealer that sells my amp, buy one. Mine was 1100 bux but it was well worth it. ;)

160db is POSSIBLE with two 8's. Ever hear of Nate Munson? Search www.termpro.com for his name.

anything is possible with money i just think it would be easier to hit 160 with 2 12's for less money than the time it would take to make a box good enough for 8's to do thats

For those of you who think 138 is high for two 8's, where have you been? Obvisouly not keeping up with the recent posts.

How about 147.5 with one 8. Don't think so? Take a gander at this. http://www.kicker.com/ShowPage.cfm?f...e=03krazy8.htm

Those Micro-dimensions amps, otherwise known as U-Dimensions that you refered to do hit hard! I have the 8.1xd and 10.4xd. A team from canada hit a record 164.00 db with 1 Digital Disigns 12" sub driven by 2 8.1xd amps at a USAC DB drag

With an SPL meter. I think radio shack has them.
