Ok here is my prediciment. I have a 98 firebird with a monsoon system and a single fm/am/cd player. I was told wrong, but it is also my fault, that the gm9 AUX adapter would work with my car as long as I have the 9 pin adapter in the back which I did. However the gm9 still does not work with my car I guess because I do not have cd changer controls and the 9 pin slot was not intended for cd changers in the 98's. SOO, on to my real question If I purchase a Pontiac firebird year 2000 factory stereo, which has the cd changer controls, would I be able to just plug it right into my existing wire harness?
