Im leaning more to the kickers because of the power handling (400 watts rms) and the price. The alpine type R's look very well built but there power handling is listed at 300 watts rms. Any help would be great. There going on an audiobahn amp thats rated at 400x2 in stereo with a 2ohm load. Thanks alot.
Well, i just talked with a guy thats starting up his own business and he is a certified 1st class installer about to be going for his master certification. His nephew has a 95 camaro with two audiobahn AW1000Q 10's and an audiobahn amp (not sure of the wattage) and audiobahn capacitor. That SOB slams! I havent heard 10's hit that hard in a long time. My car was parked about 40 feet away and it set my alarm off. Needless to say im getting the same setup but instead ill be running 12's. Cost for the amp, box, subs, capacitor and install is going to be right around $1150. But the way that car sounded it should be money well spent.
Neither, go with Rockford Fosgate HX2's, They rule. I hade 3 12" He2's in my xtreme ext. cab, the bass was incredible, on one bass song my friend opened the door and almost puked, it was halarious. That set up made my roof suck in 3 -4 inches. The guys who did my stereo for my have the loudes Van in Canada so they know what they are doing, they said they have never heard three twelves that loud before, they said that my three twelves would beat guys with 2 15's. All in all those were just he2's, go with hx2's, they rule dude. :D

Kicker comp VRs are the man, Alpines are popluar, Kickers are underrated ( quality ) not power. They handle great, and bump. But my car is the stereo man, I put a sub in my car and it bumps =) I love it. With proper placement the kicker would be bad *** , but they are both good- so Id say whatever u can get cheaper, ( but Id buy the CVR )
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
