Image Dynamics makes a 2 ohm component set...only problem is they should be getting about 150W RMS. I would call ID up and see what they say about using the stock monsoon amp.Eclipse 8443, CDT ES-620s in doors (Clarion APX401.2), IEK, CDT 6X in rear(HU), Image Dynamics ID10v.3D.4 in stealthbox(Clarion DPX1001.2)
http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33
borla cat-back, FTRA, whisper lid

I just finished doing the upgrade that was posted over on the LS1 Tech forum, went with the Alpine SPS-1005 tweeters, the Alpine SPS-170A 6 1/2's in the doors, and the Rockford Fosgate RFP4406 6.5" subs. I used the harnesses off the old speakers soldered onto the new terminals for easy plug-n-play. Buying everything off EBAY, I spent around $140 in speakers. I did the installs myself which went pretty well. For what it is it sounds damn good. This was the original thread for the info. I saw & used:
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105043
I've got the old speakers up on EBAY right now, at least one of the door speakers and one of the rears are good so it might be a hell of a deal for someone.... I didn't touch the sail panel speakers in the hatch, mine still work and those are riveted in, have to drill out a few rivets to get those free.
Laters!
