Hey, just traded for a nice sony minidisc head unit and a 10 disc cd changer for my car. I was just wondering, I have never really looked around for minidisc's before and have no clue where to buy them. Do music stores in the mall and stuff sell them, or do I have to order them, or burn them myself??? If anyone has any information it is much appreciated. Thanks Jason

Burn em yourself. Ive had a mini-disc player since they first came out. now techonology has advanced and stuff, and you can fit like 5hrs on a disc.
i love them, they are so handy. screw MP3 players, if anyone did research before buying an MP3 player and looked at an MD player, they would be foolish to get the MP3 player.
have fun with it, mini-discs are the best invention that few people know of.

Do I have to buy a minidisk burner or what. I really have no clue about how to use them at all. The radio I traded for had 1 already in it, so that is the only one I have saw. Do I have to buy a music burning program or can I just take the music that is on my computer and transfer it on there. Please help me out. Thanks Jason

i have a MD recorder, portable. its a recorder and player. you can buy pre-recorded mini-discs, but they are hard to come by, and limited selection.
its just like recording a tape.....hit play on the CD player, hit record on the MD recorder, and thats it. MD recorders are $$$ tho.
dunno if you want, ive been lookin for an MD player in my car for a while. id trade you my CD unit for your MD thing w/ the changer if it comes down to it and you arent willing to get the recording stuff needed......
if you have other questions tho. lemme know.
