Do any camaros have steering wheel controls for the stereo?? I'd like to install a steering wheel control but ive only seen em on Birds.... If i found a steering wheel, would I be able to integrate it with my alpine deck?

If you're deck has a remote control, you should be able to hook up the steering wheel controls to it. Check the Modifications Encyclopedia.

no, hes saying his current steering wheel does not have wheel controls, and he would like to replace it with a steering wheel that has them.
It would work if you could get the wiring to gyro correctly, i don't know how the birds are hooked up tho.

In terms of cost, it will be pretty expensive. Not only will you need the Firebird steering wheel with the radio controls, you'll also need the Firebird airbag to go along with it as well.

all you will need is a 2000+ camaro steering wheel I got one for $50 off of ebay with the wiring harness. Then you will need an airbag out of one. The 96-99 monte carlos are the same also. Then it is a 4 wire connection. ground, switched power, dash light switch, and then the signal wire. To hook it in to the headunit you will need a pac swi-x they run you about $50 on ebay. I installed them in my 2000 camaro and it took about 2 hours to do and then I also put some in my 95 jimmy and am changing the bag to the new style. It will probably cost you about $200 to do it yourself depending on how much you can get the bag and wheel for. E-mail me if you want more info on it.

I think that other than the steering wheel itself all you need is the airbag coil. I had to get this when i got my new steering wheel and it was like 200$!
