I linked you to several amps that would work well in your last thread. Remember that you need to be looking at the RMS output when looking at the spec. Any mention of "max", "maximum" or "peak" are just eye catching numbers. RMS value will be NO MORE then half of that. Sometimes even less.

Kenwood amps are so-so. I'm sure it will put out close to rated power. Believe it or not, Lanzar's Vibe series isin't that bad. Many of their other lines suck balls, but I have read that the vibe series does infact do rated power. If you are looking for the mother of all dollar/watt ratios, then check out the Lanzar Vibe 1200D. Heard fo several happy people using this amp. Here's a non-bias review from car sound. 1262Wx1@14V into a reactive 1 ohm load! If you are using an aftermerket headunit, note Voltage for Rated Output: 376 mV to 2.9 volts. You probably have 4V RCAs so keep the gain set to min and you should be fine.

        96firebird I am running a Clarion headunit 52wX4ch.

I am going to try to find the Lanzar Vibe 1200D at a car auido shop.

So one of these amps would you go for Lanzar or Kenwood. Or would neither of these work for me.

I really need help cause I am going to the audio shop at evening so I really need advice. Thanks.

Well, out of the two, I guess I'd go with the Vibe. It's does 100 extra WRMS and is cheaper. Like I said, I have heard that the entire Vibe is atleast decent..... also these days 4V RCAs are nearly becoming the standard with aftermarket headunits. With that amp's input voltage range, keep the gain conservative.

Never heard of it. 1500watts max huh? Let's hope it really does 1000WRMSx1@1ohm. What is the fuse rating on it? Didn't know you were planning on spending that much. Why buy from a dealer? Nothing wrong with it.... just wondering....

Well that amp is able to pump up 3 of the kickers CVR12 I want to get.

Well if would of bought it from the internet that amp would of cost me $289 plus shipping and handling.

I bought it from a dealer cause I really trust that audio shop and because they have a great guarantee on the products they sell.

I want to buy the kickers at sounddomain.com because the price is a little cheaper, but I dont have any experience buying from the internet.

I gave you a brief run down of internet buying in your last topic. Nothing to be scared of.

3 CVR's? You only have two now correct? Planning on getting a third?

I just sold my old system, and I am just starting to buy my components. I still have to buy the two CVR'S but I was thinking last night what about if I only bought 1 squaured kicer subwoofer would it sound louder than the 2 CVR's.

The dual 12"s will have more cone area then the single L7..... but remember that you will then only have one sub to power. So double the power to a single sub! With that, they should sound pretty close to one another. Biggest thing being that the overall box size could be smaller now that you're only using a single sub. Maybe enough room to port it? Then the L7 might just pull ahead....
