A little while ago, i bought a new head unit and my sail panel mid range subs stopped working for some reason. My brother wants to buy a head unit and he asked me if the same thing will happen to him. He also has the stock monsoon system. Is there any reason why his mid range subs would stop working?

Just ALL TOO COMMON for the monsoon system. Has nothing to do with the aftermarket headunit. -

All of the factory Monsoon speakers will still work with an aftermarket headunit. Make sure whichever aftermarket headunit he buys has a "buil-in" amp inside.
The two speakers in your car that don't work anymore are more than likely blown.2006 TiburonComment
