hi, i put a new deck in my car shortly after getting it, a Rockford Mp3CD player, and the radio controlls like volume and track number that are on the steering wheel dont work anymore... is there a way to maybe wire it so that they do, and if not anyone know any good places to get a new steering wheel?

search the forum someone posted details on what each wire does and also I think where to get a harness if your to lazy to wire it yourself

my friend owns a stereo shop and he told me there is just a install kit and it will make the steering controls work for any aftermarket radio. if u would like i can find out what the product is called and let ya knowComment

The product is called PAC SWI2. make sure you ask if it will work on your specific HU before you buy it. ask the person you are going to buy it from, the person who will be installing it and call Rockford to see if it will work. I had my HU installed and later was told the PAC SWI2 wouldn't work b/c the HU and SWI (steering wheel interface) used differend infer-red frequensesRedlineVSixComment
