never tried... but considering i have two 18s 45 pounds each. 75 pound box 1 inch mdf and like over 100 3 inch screws, extra optima battery ~30 pounds, 6 farad cap 27 pounds, all the wireing ~ 5 pounds?? 4 gauge... and the amp im guesing about 10???? im sure it would slow me down considerably... i can FEEL the difference when i dont have it all in....

I could feel the difference in mine. I had about 250-300 lbs of added weight. I have an LS1 and still felt the difference, so I'm sure it would be as much or more noticeable with a V6 (I'm not dogging the V6, I'm just giving you information). I had better traction, but it was slower overall. If that's really a concern, go for a Milhouse box from subthump. You can take it out of the car as easily as removing your stock flap (of course you have to unplug the two wires to the speakers). You can take it out, make your trip down the track and then come back and put it back in.

My best pass was 15.3 with just my exhaust, I haven't had a good run with my yet with my CAI and high-flow cat. I haven't ran it yet with out my system in it. The general rule of thumb is .1/sec for 100lbs.
