  • Looking for an amp

I was needing a decent 1000watt rms amp. I dont really want to pay a butt load but I know they wont be cheap. I may possibly need two of them.

    Thanks in advance

can i ask what do you intend to push with 2k watts?

If you want 2k watts might want to look into the Orion 2500 or the Viper 2500

I couldnt find the viper 2500 but the orion 2500, wow I wasnt planning on spending $1400 for a amp.

      Any other suggestions.

I was just putting combinations together and I seen this sub and I was going to try it.

ummm... that sub doesnt even mention an rms power rating so i would recomend looking elsewhere. also i have never heard a sub that claims that it can handle so much power for such a low price (this should be setting off alarms in your head). that said, if it truely handles 2000W peak it will probably only handle about 1000wrms. for this i would recomend the elemental designs nine.1. its a great amp for reliablility, clairity, and overall quality. check it out at www.edesignaudio.com. you might as well check out their subs and package deals as well since it is all great stuff and very reasonable.

And all for under 100 bucks.... lol

If you're looking for a single super sub setup, look into the big boys. ie. Brahma, XXX, DD 99-- etc.

T-punk, no offense or anything - i have no problems that you always recommend eD stuff because we all recommend what we've had good experiences with - but it's kind of hard to say it has good reliability when it's been out less than a year.

true, but when it doesnt blow up like almost every other amp has that my friend has punished in his system i feel it has passed the reliability test (he has killed a jbl 1200 so that should say something). Also it felt like i had them longer than that but you are right. maybe i do recomend them to much though... i dont know.
