Dual 10"s will give you more output, but you will have to power 2 speakers instead of one. You see? What amp are you considering or do you have? Also, 2 10"s will take up a little more space then a single 12". Sound quality should not be affected. It's all in the design of the box. Make sure the box you buy fits the needs of the subs you want. It's 80% install, 20% equipment.

go with the dual 10's. i currently have dual 10in. JBL's in a custom air-tight box and they work fine. I'm using a pyramid 1200watt amp and its powering both perfectly and they really pound.1998 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
1998 Camaro RS
My Cardomain.com Site

Go with two twelves. I am currently running two twelve american bass and a 300 watt memphis amp. its good enough for me to feel it very deeply in my drivers seat and the subs r in the back lil compartment. But like the other guy said make sure to get a box that is setup for the subs u want other wise the subs will sound like crappp.

The Milhouse box pounds either way. I only had a SVC eclipse sub in mine and it was every bit as loud as my current set up. My next box will probably be 2 or 3 10's, not a 12. Either way in a Milhouse you'll be fine.

Just remeber, 2 10's will be louder, but a 12" will be deeper.1998 Arctic White Camaro
3.8L V6 M5
Flowmaster 80 Series with 3\" tips
Whisper Lid w/ K&N
Flowtech Cutout
Free-Ram Air Mod
Blue Underbody Neon Kit
3 MTX 6000 10\" Subs
Rockford 800a2 Amp
My Camaro
