  • Question on home amp, ......

    and no laughing please.

I have a home stereo amp which can do 100w X 2 in stereo & 80w X 4 in suround. I know I can get a power invertor to meet it's power requirements. This reciever can rock home 12" speakers no prob  . I currently have 2 4x6 @ 40w ea & 2 6x9 @ 50w ea. The 6x9 can easily handle this receiver. Just thinking aloud. 4x6 can handle the 80w also. All power ratings @ max.

Nope....invertors put a ton of noise in the system....its cheaper to just get an amp off ebay.
