I can now say i will never ever ever buy ANY sony Xplod product...

I have (had) a sony Xplod amp 75X4 that i was using to push all my mids and highs i got it from my cousin for free so thats why i have it. So today i had a big day planned to head to mardi gras, i even finished up the system and got it fined tuned and all.

All of a sudden the xplod amp decides to take a crap on me and blows fuses left and right. :mad:

Needless to say i wont be taking the 'maro to mardi gras this year

For some reason I dont like to buy anything Sony but i did purchase a 1600 watt mono subwoofer X plod on ebay last year... Havent used it yet. LOL waiting to get new subs which I am probably going to get kicker.

I hope you don't think the sony is gonna push any where near 1600 watts, It probaly won't even do half of that.

Hate is such a strong word, thats why i use it when i talk about alpine. i hate alpine because of problems i have actually experienced several times. So why would i not hate them? alpine HU's are jam packed with features, and have great sq but if i cant rely on them to work correctly why would i use them? Eclipse HU's have been very good to me as have Clarions. Elemental Design is all i will use for the rest of my system now.

I'll add to the list of people who hate Sony.
If their HUs aren't at least 80°, it will skip like hell. That's why I could never listen to music in the morning. I now have a Panasonic and not only has it never skipped on me, but it made the entire system just sound so much better and cleaner.

I have two Pioneer TS-W34C's and they're definitely not extremely loud and powerful, but they sound very very nice. It adds that extra bass boost our cars need.
They're powered by a Rockford amp which hasn't given me any trouble. One blown fuse in the past 6 months. I do need a bigger amp though.

Sony amps do suck they dont put ne where near there rated power out. Right now i got a jvc headunit thats very nice, a american bass amp, and two kicker dvc's that pound like hell, and pyle speakers all around. No complaints for anything i have now loud as hell and pretty good sound quality.
