Like everybody else, put me down for hating sony xplod too. I started off with a sony head unit, sony amp, and sony woofers. of the three, only the amp have i been happy with (yes, believe that or not). The woofers were first to blow, then the head unit messed up, but my amp has been running strong for over 2 years now. I have it wired at 1 ohm and it pushes out plenty of power for me, and i push it hard constantly... so all in all the amp has been good to me. BUT, if that amp does fry anytime soon (knock on wood), i will NOT be getting another sony amp, even though ive had good luck with mine.

as of now, my audiobahn woofers are great, and my new pioneer DEH-P9600MP cd player is awesome.

Sony Speakers, Pyle, Pyramid, Boss, Legacy, Audiobahn, Cruch

Had exp with Sony, Audiobahn, Pioneer, Hifonics, MTX, Hifonics is aight, Pioneer has yet to displease me, MTX was nice, and Sony and Audiobahn where rip off crap, though we have some old sony Amps that seem to outperform the newer ones by far.

i have one kicker 10(600 watts rms) solobaric with audiobahn 800t(800 watts rms) audiobahn amp with the gain turned about 3/4 and makes the solobaric slam i am pleased with that. Also i have a 2005 pioneer 770 hu and kicker dx 60s i am pleased with them. i had a sony xplod amp on my solobaric a 760 watt and it blew in 2 days also my solobric has claimed an american bass vfl 500. so overall i am happy with kicker, audiobahn (that surprised me cause of the price) and pioneer.

Come on now. The list is a little longer then that! ;)

Oh and add Bazooka to the list of "suppose to be decent but really sucks" car audio.

Had a buddy that bought an amped 10" Bazooka tube awhile back. Cost him like $250. I was very disappointed in it. I could get both more SPL and SQ out of a Pyramid 6 1/2"! :D And more recently, had a friend buy a pair of their 6x9's from CC. (Not sure of the model number) Pumped em with 50WRMS each in their own sealed box. VERY little low end. From a 6x9, that's just unacceptable. I had to triple check his HU and amp crossover settings. He ended up returning them and buying a pair of Infinity's I think....

I guess im the only one that likes Sony Xplod. I have a hu that has never skipped in almost 2 years, run Sony 6.5 inch(4 way) up front and in rear and 12 inch p5 subs in back. I run that with a rf punch 6001 amp and a punch 120 a2 running my 6.5's and my pioneer tweeters. Never any problems. I wont say they are the best but they arent the worst either.

I don't know anything about Bazooka's newer stuff but the Bazooka gear I worked with years ago, the bass tubes, were junk. Their woofers always blew and the built in amps burned up pretty fast as well. That's just from my experience.

My last system was a Bazooka amp EL1500 1 channel 600watt and 2 Alpine type E 10in and it really worked well it hit pretty good.

But yes there subs really suck.
