Carpeting Box

I recently made a box similar in appearance to the millhouse box. Is this hard to carpet? I was going to pick up some black auto carpet from a car stereo shop but I was wondering if I should try to do it in vinyl? Any suggestions?

I'd suggest auto carpet... vinyl doesnt look that good IMO.

When you apply the carpet, you want to make sure you apply glue to the surface, and then use staples to hold the carpet against the surface.

After the glu dries you can remove the staples
