Which mp3 player

I've got a few gig's worth of mp3's that I want to play in my car. Who has a player that they really enjoy? I'm talkin under $300.

Kenwood's Keg or the Neo Jukebox. (search Ebay for "neo jukebox". There is a 20g and 40g model.) I haven't heard many good things about Neo's product though....actually several bad things.

i have a kenwood kdc-mpv622 deck, it doesn't store mp3s but plays mp3 cds. i have a few cds with about 170 songs on them. i get a lot of compliments on the deck :D

Archos makes VERY good mp3 players.

I'd go with the kenwood music keg, Ive installed or i should say tried to install a few of those neo changers which is a cd changer that reads mp3's and we always had a hard time getting them to work, so with that i cant stand those neo products. But in my car I have a Pioneer DEH-P8500MP, and in my other car a kenwood KDC825MP.

if you're talking about getting a new head unit, i have a jvc that plays mp3 cds. It's worked flawlessly for me, was like $150 a year ago, and plays really scratched cds without a problem. You can also get a pretty cheap mp3 12 disc changer for it (12 disc, model # ch-x1500, about $130 on ebay). im probably getting that soon, pretty nice to have 13 mp3 cds without having to change discs. I have about 75 gigs of music, so i love it.

oh no we wouldnt want that would we. the poor record industry with their shallow pockets might lose a few bucks. the bastards. they've been screwing musicians in the *** for decades and the minute the table is turned on them they start *****ing. i say **** them! **** them in their stupid asses. those dirty mother ****ers. but any back on topic, look into the eclipse commander unit for a later upgrade. that thing just rocks. oh and i know you were kidding about the download thing zell. just had to get that out of my system.

Well kind of. I'm an artist myself but I don't like the tricks of the industry. That's why we're being force fed music that's promoting a good lifestyle instead of hearing the best unique talents that the labels are afraid won't sell albums or the industry itself. I just hope there ends up being a way that artist can get lots of attention under a new more fair system. Well anyways I think I might see another thread in the lounge when I get home from work later.
