Most people will agree that Pioneer ranks among the classes of Sparkomatic and Kraco these days...

At some time in owning it, most pioneer decks will have a problem. I have that deck, or maybe the previous years model, in the friends truck that I am borrowing for now. As per usual, the deck is a POS and the RCA connections are not soldered in well and while driving all the time I have to reach in the dash to give it the magic touch to make it work again...

    How annoying...

    i.e. that's a "nay"

      I'm going with yay
I've owned 2 decks, both Pioneer. I had one in my 91 Blazer, ran fine, RCAs to a PPI amp which powered my speakers. Never a problem. That one is in my dads 95 stang GT. The other one I sold to a friend who stil has it and runs it. I plan on buying one for my camaro when I figure my car is fast enough (for now). As far as that particlar one, I cnt vouch for it... but its a pioneer so I can say its a good brand.

I don't know why people have been dogging on Pioneer so much lately. I have the 8400 and have never had a problem with it. In fact, I like it quite well. So yay.
