  • Cheap Boxes?

I am getting a couple of 12's soon. I just need some single boxes that will fit in the well. Does anybody know where I can get em cheap. I am spending most of my money on 2 W3's.

Go to a car audio shop and see what they offer. Or just stop being lazy and make your own, that's the cheapest way!

So what will they do next, come out with a plastic milhouse box. And have all the logos I do stamped in the front

Don't get me wrong, those are decent boxes. Of course they lack air space and a divider to divide the chambers. I've had that same basic design for 3 years now. If everybody starts buying black plastic stuff, I guess I'll just have to throw in the towell.

True, they do not have a divider. But as far as airspace, they are almost perfect for my subs. My subs reccomend .96 to 1.5 cb ft I believe. The boxes are made of 5/8 mdf board and coated with what looks to be the same stuff used in that rhino lining in truckbeds. Im very pleased with mine and for like $135-150 (cant remember exactly) for 12's, i dont think you can go wrong. Nice fit too.

Get the probox or one of thier super bass boxes and save yourself the price of a sub. one sub in a super bass box sounds like a pair.

I want to be able to fit two twelves in the well. I am going to start off with running one W3 and see how it sounds. If I don't like it I will buy another one. The thing with the boxes is I have my amp mounted in a weird place so I don't know if 2 single 12" boxes will fit. Right now I have 10's. Here's a picture. http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...page_id=315411
