UPDATE: thanks guys. I bought my 12W6 off a friend of mine and he had the dual voice coils bridged + - + and - -- - running my amp below it's 2ohm limits. I wasn't fully aware of the ohms prior to this but now I know. I seem to learn these things the hard way but at least the amp is under full warrenty for my stupidity :D
