  • I NEED a Milhouse box. (dimensions)

the subject says it all... I tried getting subthump.com to build me one but that didn't work out so whoever has any good ideas, suggestions or dimensions from their own milhouse (this would realllllly help) this thread is for you. My only option is to build one so all help and input is highly appreciated. Oh, and for dual 10s.

Would it be possible to just stick a box on the back of the stock milhouse and use it the same way? Is that what you plan on doing?

I get annoyed because back when I was trying to sell them, nobody wanted one. No sweat off my back because I always hated making them. And now that they're gone, everybody wants one.

But I can't make them anymore if I wanted because I burned my jigs and the brackets are all used up and the price of the copper bushings and shipping went up. Not to mention the fact that I simply just do not want to make them anymore. So please no more e-mails about milhouse boxes.

Yay, so now we have to shell out more money for the T-top box...

Anyways, what I meant Weazel, was the stock thing that flips up and down. Are you going to make a box and stick it on the back of that, or include the portion for where it flips back and forth in with your box? I know this may be confusing, maybe I'll get some pics of what I'm talking about.

The stock flap would be too flimsy to support a box and sub. You'll need to fabricate a new one out of mdf. I traced my flap for the overall shape, but I had to make a lot of adjustments before it would work.

I am sure you guys can sorta figure it out by measuring the flap in the back there... good luck to those who do it.
