Those are someone's old RCA cables. They are using to send the signal from the headunit to an amp. Either they are connected to a line output convertor which is still connected to your stock headunit..... or they are not connected to anything at all.

So no amp huh? That sucks. If you're trying to keep the stock look, are you even thinking of replacing the headunit with aftermarket? If not, then you have no need to spend $500.

coaxials = 2-way speakers; a speaker with both a woofer and tweeter within one housing. This is the most common design for automotive use, and is the easiest to use if you're replacing speakers in the factory location.

I know you're a long way up in Lubbock, but if you happened to be going through San Marcos anytime soon, I'd be happy to show you how the whole system goes together in my car, and how easy it would be to change things [and change them back to stock if needed].

Not going to fit anything under the seats, but here's a great idea. Maybe do something similar to this? If you're not going to use an amp or aftermarket headunit.... and none of your current stock speakers are blown.... spend your money elsewhere.

Go to ebay search for infinity 6.5inch speakers they wont let you down. The kappa's are the best and make very very clean sound. Theese speakers will sound great now and if you can sneek an amp in your car down the road will sound amazing. You will be able to hide everything under the stock speaker grills. If you look you can get infinity speakers for about $79 and less. I would say with shipping you would have a set of 4 infinitys new not used. For about 150-200US MAX and I mean to your door shipping and everything. Here is a link to a ebay store I have had great luck with in the past.

Check Out Circuit City's page. Infinity's 6.5's are only 100 bucks a set. They sound great in my car. I loved 'em so much I went and got their 12" sub

the CDT 6.5 full range speakers are a pretty good buy from www.thezeb.com if you want to replace the rear speakers.

okay i was reading the faqs, i think thats what it was, well it says coaxials in the front subs in the middle and mids in the rear so the infiniitys would cover all that and the rears wont fit 6 1/2" so what for that
