I found a Power Source PC30 power supply on ebay for real cheap.

Thing doens't look like much of a power supply to me. I emailed the seller asking about it and if it would power a car amp. He emailed me back saying its rated at 30 amps continuous (you can see the 30 AMPS label in the picture), and that it had powered a car stereo display running 2 amplifiers and 10 speakers. That sounds kind of bogus to me, and I think he just said that because I mentioned a car amp. Most of the 20-30 amp power supplies I've found weigh near 30 lbs., but this think only weighs 11-12 lbs. Think he's lying to me?

Hmm, I think I found some info on the power supply.

PC30s are listed under Todd Engineering Power Source Battery Chargers

That's what we call a "normal" power supply. Most power supplies that you've probably seen are "bench" supplies, meant to be mounted on a workbench.

This one isnt. BUY IT! Looks just like any other power supply I've seen... :D

....errr uhhh...retract that. It's a battery charger?? I wouldn't touch it...it probably trickles that current very slowly...

I dunno, it's confusing. The only real way to test it would be to have a unit and put it through it's paces.
