Well currently my car was not equipped with DRL's (daytime running lights). The bulb have two filaments...one for when I have the parking lights on and one (brighter) for when I have the turn signal on.
What I want is like on the 97+ fbodies that have the Bright yellow DRL's at all times. Is there a kit they make and/or directions on how to do this. Please help. :D
hmm... turn them on?? (parking lights).. i actually disabled mine, got tired of lookin at em and wanted sumthin different..

I remember when GM first announced that they were putting DRL's on their cars they said that they would make a retrofit kit for older cars. Maybe you could check the dealer.

Parking lights aren't as bright as DRL's, you can bearly see them at daytime.

Check with a dealer. They are mandatory in Canada (and have been for a long time) so I suspect there is a plug-in module that may be available.

Thanks for the responses everyone...I ended up following the directions on projecttransam.com
They turn on when the car is on and off when the car is off. Also they are about 10x brighter than if I were to just leave the parking lights on. Overall it was pretty cheap for a nice mod.
