I was going to do that for fun, just cause i thought my friends would get a kick and the firebird one has more stuff you can play with, but it is expensive, and i don't want to go diving for it. If you do it lets see some pics!

does it matter if the headunit itself says monsoon on it or not ?

Do any of the camaro headunits have equalizers?

Not ones you could adjust. There's settings for "pop", "rock", and "classic" I think, but they're preset. You can't change the frequencies yourself.
Yes, I know \"Artic\" should be spelled \"Arctic\". Can any of the mods change this?

You will have to somehow reuse the metal side brackets from your old Camaro head unit and put them on the new Firebird head unit. The metal brackets use to simply unbolt but now GM rivets them on I do beleive. Be creative, try and remove the brackets and reuse them or just make new brackets out of some thin metal.
