ok, i have stock speakers and the 250 watt amp and i want to get a good "thump" in my system. i have the problem of the terrible monsoon amp not giving the speakers enough power or too much power and getting a really bad ugly thump from the speakers. i have my eq setting the speakers up so that i don't get that nasty thump, BUT i don't get the bass i would like to get. what i'm wondering is if i could hook up an amp and a sub with the stock setup and get a pretty good sound improvement, or MUST i upgrade everything? thx.
